Everlight Chemical 50 Anniversary

On the 19^th of December, 2023, Everlight Chemical celebrated the 50^th anniversary at the Shangri-La Hotel in Taipei. Chairman Chen Chien-Hsin unveiled the event and prayed for the future success and prosperity of Everlight. Chairman Lyu Jye-Cherng of Taiwan Financial Holdings and Bank of Taiwan, Director of Lien Chin-Chang the Industrial Development Bureau, Deputy Director Peng Yu-Min of ITRI, and President Keh Huan-Chao of Tamkang University, also delivered speeches to congratulate and express their expectations for future of Everlight.

During the event, precious images showcased the hardships that Honorary Chairman Chen Ding-Chuan and Director Chen Ding-Ji went through since they founded the company in 1972, to the present day when Everlight has grown into a global chemical group. General Manager Chen Wei-Wang also demonstrated Everlight’s contributions to environmental sustainability and its determination to move towards green chemistry.

Everlight has been donating to schools near plants for a long time. In the celebration, the student chorus from Shulin Elementary School in Guanyin District performed and delivered the cutest blessings! Everlight employees also celebrated the 50^th anniversary with lively and catchy poems, creating a warm and joyful atmosphere. Senior staff Tu I-Chung and Huang Hui-Ching also expressed their gratitude and blessings for Everlight.

Finally, Chairman Chen Ding-Chuan, Director Chen Ding-Ji, Chairman Chen Chien-Hsin, and General Manager Chen Wei-Wang cut the cake together and celebrate the 50^th anniversary of Everlight! We will continue to work hard on “being a high-tech chemical group that contributes to society” and move forward to the next 50 years.

Everlight Chemical has always placed great emphasis on social welfare and has been making long-term donations to schools and charitable organizations in the community. At the 50^th anniversary celebration, Principal Yang Qian-Hui of Shulin Elementary School presented a certificate of appreciation, and the student chorus performed four melodious songs, delivering their heartfelt wishes and congratulations to Everlight on this special day.
